Youth Bikes!

At Diamondback we pride ourselves on making bikes for every rider, with some of the most important cyclists being our children. We got our start making BMX bikes nearly 40 years ago, and we continue to try and keep the little guys stoked. With smaller bikes in every genre, we think the future of cycling looks brighter than ever. Check out some of our favorite kids bikes:

Splinter

Splinter: a full-suspension big bike for little rippers! After seeing so many kids on ill-fitting and outmatched bikes in the bike park, our product team decided to do something about it. The result was an aggressive bike built with bike parks in mind. With 24” wheels and 100mm of custom-valved travel, it’s proportioned to fit smaller riders without compromise. MSRP: $1,800

Line 24

Line 24: youth mountain biking is taking off, and the Line 24 is a bike they can grow with. A junior version of our do-anything Line, it’s a tough all-mountain hardtail. Equipped to handle the abuse of real mountain bike trails and the bumps and bruises that come from daily use around the neighborhood. 24” wheels, aggressive tires, and a 1x8 SRAM drivetrain round out this ripper. MSRP: $650

Haanjo Trail 24

Haanjo Trail 24: with the growth of gravel riding, it’s only natural that we make something for the kids that looks like their parents’ bikes. It’s a drop-bar alternative road bike with all the features you’d expect on a top of the line adult bike: a hydroformed aluminum frame, integrated shifters, and disc brakes. A true gravel grinder for youngsters, the Haanjo Trail 24 is ready for the long haul—even if it’s only ridden to school. MSRP: $750

Cobra 20

Cobra 20: a great all-around bike, the Cobra 20 combines the maneuverable wheels of a BMX bike with some mountain bike features. An extremely tough steel frame, 40mm travel fork, and seven speeds make this the perfect bike for the neighborhood and beyond! MSRP: $225

Tess 20

Tess 20: small enough to manage, with a durable steel frame and a suspension fork, the Tess 20 is a favorite. Seven speeds, brakes that are easy to operate, all wrapped up in a striking color: what more could you ask for? She’ll find it perfect for rides of any length! MSRP: $225

El Oso Nino

El Oso Nino: it’s almost impossible to keep kids off this little fat bike—just look at it! Not only does it look cool, but it’s a blast to ride. El Oso Nino's giant tires roll over everything in their way, gripping and clawing through soft sand, snow, or dirt. With a Shimano seven speed drivetrain and powerful disc brakes, this bike is ready for the moon (or the backyard). MSRP: $550
